Tejina Mountain

Natural luxury facing the Atlantic

Tejina Mountain, an ancient volcanic dome covering 169.7 hectares and standing 1,055 metres high, rises between the Guaria and Cuéscaro ravines as a protected natural environment that is home to endangered species such as the balillo and the corriguela.

Formerly used for agriculture, today it stands out for its natural, cultural and historical value, as it was considered a sacred place by the Guanches. From its summit, you can enjoy panoramic views and explore various hiking trails that allow you to discover its flora, fauna and scenic beauty. It is a unique space that combines nature, history and spirituality.

Access

The most direct access is via the TF-82 road, which connects Guía de Isora with Adeje. When you reach the hamlet of Tejina de Guía, take the turn-off onto the TF-465, from where rural tracks lead up to the protected area. It can also be accessed from the Acojeja area, following a paved road that continues as a dirt track to the monument’s footpaths.

Respect the signage in the protected natural area and ecologically sensitive areas, and avoid straying from the marked trails.
