Close to Playa de San Juan is Alcalá, a place where the smell of salt takes us back to its origins: in the 20th century, there was a fish canning factory, the facilities of which remain today, although they are now used for a different purpose.
The fishermen’s boats rock gently on the waves above a multitude of marine species that live in the pools and clear waters, inviting us to enjoy the waters of this coastal town.
In the centre of the village, you will have the opportunity to sample the typical coastal cuisine offered by the restaurants, as well as do your shopping in the shops or at the market that takes place every Monday from 8:00 to 13:00 in the Plaza del Llano.
