This hamlet is located high up between the El Pozo and Niágara ravines.
Rainfed and irrigated agriculture (garlic, vines, potatoes and tomatoes, among other products for self-consumption) give us clues about its origins, which date back to the 18th century with the expansion of cultivated land and later to the important cultivation of prickly pears in the 19th century.
