It should be noted that the international festival MiradasDoc has a special recognition for its direction throughout all these years and alliances formed with other festivals around the world. This is something that speaks highly of its team and all the effort that once again pays off with this incorporation.

Although this news is a few months old, it is still important for the entire population of the Canary Islands, especially just a few days after the sixteenth edition of the MiradasDoc festival.

This latest edition of the festival ran from 30 January to 3 February, with the presentation of fabulous documentaries.

What is the MiradasDoc festival?

MiradasDoc is an international-level festival specialized in documentary film, with a preference for the inclusion of audiovisual productions that have a background within the social area.

Additionally, it also takes into account that documentaries are produced or recorded in southern countries, where particular social dynamics are highlighted, thus encouraging a deeper understanding of the realities and contexts of the south.

This festival revolves around three axes, which are: Market, Training and the Festival Event itself. It should be noted that each area in which MiradasDoc takes place has its own portfolio of events related to documentary film, including encouraging the training of young people in this great audiovisual world.
