The Subida a Guía de Isora is a race in which the riders have to cover a 4.6-kilometre stretch of road with an incline. The race starts in Playa de San Juan and ends on the TF-463 at Lomo del Balo.

During the race, the drivers have to deal with tight bends, changes in gradient and a narrow road that requires great precision at the wheel.
