Juan Évora Ethnographic Museum
The Juan Évora Ethnographic Museum gives visitors a glimpse at everyday life among the last inhabitant of the Las Cañadas del Teide National Park. The museum is housed in a small building that has been renovated to reconstruct Juan Évora’s way of life, which, in a sense, was the way of life at a time marked by the difficulties of the postwar period.
Thanks to its panels and exhibition material, visitors will have a chance to learn about the key aspects of this natural protected area and explore the world of shepherding and other traditions in this part of the highlands.
