Museum
Juan Évora Ethnographic Museum
The Juan Évora ethnographic museum shows visitors how the last inhabitant of Las Cañadas del Teide National Park lived. It is a small building that has become a place where the way of life of Juan Évora is recovered and which in some way was also the way of life in a period marked by the difficulties of the post-war period.
The visitor can, by means of panels and exhibition material, learn about the most significant aspects related to this protected natural space, as well as delve into the world of shepherding in this area of the summit and other traditions.
Guía de Isora could be considered a museum in general, as it has a wide variety of artistic elements throughout the municipality. From painting and art to history and religion. The area itself as well as the museums are a must for those who want to learn more about the culture and history of this beautiful place.
